There are many ways you can support the Daybreak Community
Gifts of cash go to work right away to meet the fundraising priorities of Daybreak, click here for our Community Wish List items. Gifts may be made by cheque or credit card (Visa or MasterCard). You will receive a tax receipt for your donation.

You will receive an online tax receipt and acknowledgement.
Monthly giving allows you to spread your donation throughout the year. Your monthly donation can be withdrawn from your bank account or can be charged to your credit card and will be processed on the 15th of each month. You may change or cancel your monthly donation at any time by sending us a short note or contacting the Development Office at 905.884.3454 ext 230. A tax receipt will be issued the following year.
When you make a donation to honour the memory of a family member, friend or colleague to L’Arche Daybreak we will send a memorial card on your behalf which you can personalize by adding your own message. You will receive a tax receipt for your donation.
Honour a special person by making a donation to acknowledge a special event such as a wedding, birthday, anniversary or a job well done. We will send a personalized tribute card on your behalf which you can personalize by adding your own message. You will receive a tax receipt for your donation.
Matching Gift Program
Many companies offer a matching gift program to their employees in Canada. Companies will match donations at 1, 2 or 3 times the gift made by the employee to charitable organizations. Every gift counts! Help double your donation by contacting your Human Resources Department to see if your company has a matching gift program. If your company does, please collect and complete the required forms and mail it along with your gift to L’Arche Daybreak. We will indicate on the form that your gift has been received and return the form to your company for processing. You will receive a tax receipt for your donation and upon receipt of your employer’s matching gift; they will receive a tax receipt for their gift.
