Work Settings and Programs

Day supports and working opportunities for individuals at Daybreak remain responsive, flexible, and strive to help each person realize their desire and potential to engage in satisfying work. The strength of Daybreak’s work programs comes from the underlying vision that people with disabilities have a unique capacity to positively impact those with whom they are in relationship.

The majority of our members work or participate in day-time activities centred on the original property: The Craft Studio, The Woodery wood-working shop, The Spirit Movers, , Day Program and The Club. Community members also work in L'Arche Daybreak's administrative offices and on the team that lead retreats at Dayspring, our spiritual center.
